TCPIP Over Radio under Win95

The WIN95 driver is called AgwDialUp and works as follow. The idea is simple i wrote a virtual modem driver. A modem that does not exists. Win95 uses that modem for its dialup networking. Internet etc. I redirect the data that WIN95 sends to the modem, to AGW Packet Engine and vice versa.
As you can understand this is not a full networking driver. First of all the Dialup Adapter doesn't handles ARP protocol. So i have to include ARP Handling inside the Packet Engine. This ARP implementation is limited and serves to resolve ARP Requests from the Gateway which you use to access the Internet. Although the driver has limitations it works extremely well if you just use the local Gateway. You may have problems to access other amateur TCPIP stations near you but not always. Anyway these problems and limitations are not critical neither important just use it(!!).

The Installation is simple and in AGW Packet Engine (AGWPE) help File are step by step instructions. First install the virtual modem, then install, if not already, the Dialup Adapter. Make a new Dialup Connection configure AGW Packet Engine and you are ready. There is no conflict if you already have an internet connection with phone. Then you can use the driver as usual. Double click the new dialup connection run AGW Packet Engine and everything is on the air.
Due to specific WIN95 structure you must first run the dialup connection and then the AGWPE.EXE. Also at the end first close AGWPE.EXE and then the dialup connection. Violating these rules the results are blue screens(!!!)
It is very good to upgrade also to winsocks ver 2. It is free and you can get the files from Microsoft sites. Just do a search there.

The driver is not free and you need to register. The registration fee is 28 $USA. Please be careful you need to register only the TCPIP driver. All other packet operations are free. You can register from BMP a company that handles my registrations. You can use any credit card, money order, checks etc. You can register from WEB secure, unsecured method etc, Fax, Toll free telephone etc. Please include the follow info.
1. You Name.
2. Your Callsign
3. The way you wish to receive your registration number (Email or Postal Address).
4. A phone number (in case of a problem)
